England striker Darren Bent has reportely told Liverpool and Spurs he will join the club that offers him the most first team football.
Bent is set to leave the Valley this summer after Charlton were relegated last season, with Liverpool and Tottenham leading the race for his signature after he rejected a £17 million move to West Ham last week.
The England striker proved then that money is not his prime consideration by rejecting the Hammers' offer of around £75,000 a week and is said to be determined to be ready to join the club that can offer him the most football to boost his hopes of becoming a regular for his country.
Bent has been a member of the England squad since last season but is yet to play in a major championships and it is understood he has his sights set on playing for England at next year's European Championships - providing they qualify.
His desire to play regular first team football could make Tottenham the favourites to sign him, with Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez preferring to play with a lone striker at times.
